Alexander Benedict, also known as Mayatschism, resides in Bandung and juggles various roles as a freelance architect, part-time bar dweller, and illustrator. He's celebrated for morbid jokes illustrations, which draw inspiration from his love for music, vintage horror cinema, ghosts, monsters and skulls, giving his work a distinctive edge. His artworks has graced the pages of his own publications like the "Bad Taste Comic Brengsek" in 2001 and the book "Barrage Drawing Vol.I," showcasing his creations from 2010 to 2015. Alongside self-publishing "Severed" (2017) and "Book of Faces" (2018), he collaborates with @morrght his other fellow illustrator as the duo QUEST FOR MONEY, captivating audiences with live drawing sessions as entertainment acts. Currently, he's collaborating with Krowbar for Maternal Disaster a series of strips comic "Aneka Ria Petaka," airing every Sunday night.
